How are we able to ensure your shopping experience remains secure?

Fact #1

We do not receive/handle any card details. All the payments are processed by STRIPE. The card number is never available to any human being at any stage in the process.

STRIPE is highly secure. Anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of card data must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

Fact #2

STRIPE automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). STRIPE collects your payment information, which is securely transmitted directly to Stripe without it passing through our servers.

Fact #3

Before you purchase, our server also checks that you’re using an approved browser – one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher. Our whole website is encrypted (secured). We use industry-leading technology (such as SSL) to keep your information safe. Everything you enter on our site is secured between your computer (smartphone or tablet too).  To know a site is secured in this way, always look for a Green Padlock in your Browser near the web address.

Fact #4

When you shop at Relax ‘n’ Stitch for the first time, you will automatically create a Relax ‘n’ Stitch Account. You will be asked to provide a password. No one will know what that password is except you… even we are unable to see it as it is encrypted.  As you enter the password, it will be dynamically analysed by the security system and must pass stringent strength tests until it is considered strong and hard to break (it’s ok, you’ll see how helpful it is as you Create a Strong Password). It is important that you NEVER share your password with anyone.  Even staff at Relax ‘n’ Stitch will NEVER ask you for your password.
